My Thoughts
Dear Parents,
What an amazing year we have had. I am so happy with the aquatic accomplishments of many of our students and I look forward to a very progressive 2009. So, where do we go from here? Some of our families have decided to take advantage of our private lessons while others have decided to take a small break and come back fighting in early 2009. Whatever your motivation, I commend you and appreciate your commitment to our program and your childs aquatic development.
I thank you for your continued trust and support of our program and I wish each and every family a Happy Thanksgiving.

Our Program
AquaTen Swim School lessons are divided into four learning categories with the goal of helping student’s transition from being aquatic naïve to being accomplished “technically sound” swimmers. With over 15 years of competitive international experience, Felipe Delgado (1996/2000 Olympian) has developed a curriculum that encompasses the entire aquatic "Learn to Swim" experience.
SAFETY: We have developed four Safety lesson plans that will encompass the aquatic naive students and allow them to learn in an atmosphere that is both fun and challenging.
DEVELOPMENT: For the students that are ready to start forming a foundation that will assist them in swimming technically sound strokes, the Development lesson plan is ideal.
STROKE TECHNIQUE: After the Development lesson plan is complete, it’s on to learning the four basic strokes. We offer three Stroke Technique lesson plans: Freestyle, Freestyle/Backstroke, Breaststroke/Butterfly
COMPETITION: Once the students learn the four basic strokes it is time to start focusing on speed. Students will learn how to swim fast while maintaining a technically sound stroke.
